Barton Rose is 3rd on debut for the yard

Barton Rose had his first run for the yard at Newton Abbot on 14 August under Paul O'Brien and finished 3rd at 9/1. On the same card, Lil Lazarus finished 7th at 125/1, making a mistake when starting to make a move under Cieran Gethings.

Lysander Belle and Yasir just miss out on the places

Both Lysander Belle and Yasir ran well over the last two days. At Wolverhampton on Monday Lysander Belle finished 5th at 16/1 under William Cox, holding every chance approaching the furlong marker but just being outpaced late on. West Wizard is 3rd at Dieppe

West Wizard finished a creditable 3rd at 16/1 at Dieppe on 10 August under Adrian Heskin. Our next runner is Lysander Belle who steps up in trip to 7f 19yds at Wolverhampton in the 5.50 contest on Monday 12 August 2019. Willliam Cox will be in the saddle.

No runners in the UK on Saturday but we do have West Wizard running at Dieppe in the Arenice Chase at 12.00pm ridden by Adrian Heskin.

Mixed fortunes at Market Rasen on Sunday

The high and lows of racing on Sunday when we sadly lost Darwin Dream when he was brought out approaching the last flight by a horse that run out and was fatally injured which is sad news for everyone at the yard. Later in the day Chestnut Pete ran his best race to date for us when 3rd at 14/1 in the bumper that concluded the card. 

Grapevine is 8th at Galway

Grapevine finished 8th at 14/1 at the Galway Festiva under Connor Brace on 1 August, racing and rear in the early stages and being unable to get to the leaders late on. Grapevine chases another big prize on Friday

Grapevine aims to follow up his Listed win at Market Rasen last time out when he runs in the Galway 5.10 on Friday which is a 2m 11yd Handicap Hurdle with Connor Brace again in the saddle.
