Birch Hill is pulled up at Stratford

Birch Hill was pulled up at 4/1 at Stratford on 2 August under Adrian Heskin. He raced in mid division under the eighth fence when he was quickly fell back and was wisely pulled up by Adrian and returned back lame and will be checked out at the yard to see how serious it is.

Birch Hill reverts to fences at Stratford

Birch Hill switches to fences on 2 August 2018 when he runs in the Stratford 2.35 which is a 2m3f 98yd Novices' Handicap Chase wuth Adrian Heskin aboard. He has to concede weight all round which won't be easy but he is a course winner and should go well in this eight runner contest.

Samson unplaced at Worcester

Samson was backed into favourite at Worcester on 31 July 2018 but never got into the race, settling in rear early on and then dropping back after the eighth fence and eventually finishing 11th at 7/4 being eased after the last fence.

We have a runner at Worcester on Tuesday 31 July 2018 which is Samson in the 2m 110yd Handicap Chase at 5.35. He has to concede weight all round but looks to have solid claims after a good second last time out at Uttoxeter and should go close. 

WINNER - Tamarillo Grove wins at Newton Abbot again

Tamarillo Grove yet again proved how much he loves Newton Abbot with a sixth course win on 30 July 2018 under Sean Houlihan. He was held up in rear and moved uo three out and then hit the front of the final bend and stayed on in good style for a 1 1/4 length win. Tamarillo Grove runs at Newton Abbot

Tamarillo Grove {pictured} returns to his favourite track Newton Abbot on 30 July 2018 for a 2m 167yd Handicap Hurdle at 3.40 with Sean Houlihan taking the ride. Perfect Symphony finishes 3rd at Chepstow

Perfect Symphony finished 3rd at 6/1 at Chepstow on 27 July 2018 under Rossa Ryan. He raced wide on the field and came through to challenge inside the final furlong and showed improved form after a number of unplaced runs. He is pictured on the far ride below. Wahaab was a non runner on the same card.
