West Wizard is out of the places at Worcester

West Wizard finished 6th at 9/1 at Worcester on 30 August, racing in rear in the early stages and moving through to 2nd down the straight but then being outpaced and being eased when his chance had gone by James Best.

Plenty of entries at end of week

Saxo Jack has two entries this week, in the Bangor-on-Dee 2.35 on Friday 1 September 2017 and in the Newton Abbot 2.35 on Saturday. Also entered at Newton Abbot on Saturday are Milrow in the 3.25, Tamarillo Grove in the 4.00 and Walden Prince in the 4.35.

West Wizard runs at Worcester on Wednesday

West Wizard runs in the Worcester 5.05 on Wednesday which is a 2m 7f Handicap Chase with six set to head to post. He goes into the race in good form and has solid place claims with James Best taking the ride.

Wahaab finishes 3rd at Chepstow

Wahaab finished 3rd at 16/1 at Chepstow on Bank Holiday Monday under Timmy Murphy, staying on well having been held up in rear early on going down by just 2l at the line.

Wahaab runs in the opening race on the Bank Holiday Monday card at Chepstow which is a 7f 16yd Handicap and would have place claims in an open race with Timmy Murphy aboard.

Anteros finishes 3rd at Cartmel

Our last five runners have all run well in what was a positive week. Two runners at Cartmel on Saturday

We have two runners at Cartmel on Saturday. Anteros runs in the 2m 5f 34yd Novices' Chase at 3.25 and Man Of Plenty runs in the 5.10 which is a 2m 1f 46yd Handicap Hurdle. Paddy Brennan rides both. Anteros faces five opponents and looks to have solid claims whilst Man Of Plenty would have each way claims in his 9 runner contest.

Four entries in the next five days

We have four entries over Saturday to Tuesday this week. At Cartmel on Saturday, Anteros is entered in the 3.25 with Man Of Plenty entered in the 5.10. On Bank Holiday Monday, Wahaab is entered in the Chepstow 12.45 with Dun Scaith entered in the Newton Abbot 4.35 on Tuesday.
