Mujassam is unplaced at Epsom

Mujassam finished 10th at 12/1 under Cieran Fallon at Epsom on 27 August, chasing the leaders until two out then dropping back. He will come on for the run and we know more about him on what was his first run for the yard.

Mujassam makes debut for yard at Epsom on Tuesday

Mujassam makes his debut for the yard in the Epsom 4.20 with top apprentice Cieran Fallon aboard and taking 5lb off his back. He won last time out and has settled in well and he should go well in this 7f 3yd Handicap for which 11 have been declared.

Garo De Juilley is 2nd at Cartmel

Garo De Juilley fared best of our two runners at Cartmel when 2nd at 6/4 under Paddy Brennan, just not having the pace on the long run-in to reel in the winner Tonto's Spirit. Grapevine finished 4th at 5/4 in his race when leading towards the last and being outpaced after the last flight under Connor Brace.

Two runners at Cartmel on Saturday

We have two runners with solid chances at Cartmel. Grapevine is set to go off odds on favourite for the opening race on the card at 2.15 which is a 2m 1f 46yd Novices' Hurdle with Connor Brace in the saddle and in the 2m 1f 61yd Novices' Chase at 3.25 Garo De Juilley runs with Paddy Brennan aboard.

All run well on Thursday but miss out on a place

All three runners on Thursday ran well but just missed out on the places. Chestnut Pete finished 4th at 12/1 at Stratford whilst in Framce, Clondaw Cian finished 5th at 74/10 with Applesandpierres 6th at 25/1.

Tamarillo Grove finished 5th at 14/1 at Newton Abbot on 20 August 2019, racing in rear and being unable to get competitive in a race where the first past the post was disqualified for weighing in light.

Tamarillo Grove returns to his favourite track Newton Abbot as he looks for a ninth course win in the 6.35 contest which is a 2m 167yd Handicap Hurdle with Connor Brace taking the ride. He is in good form at home and should run well against his younger rivals and would have place claims.
